“Camera crazy” was the term used to describe Marc Sanchez’ earliest experiences with photography. Sanchez started shooting at the age of 16 on film with a Pentax K-1000. “Those were good times in my life until all my equipment was stolen and being a young kid with no money, I couldn’t afford to replace my camera,” said Sanchez. It would be 18 years before Sanchez had his hands on a camera again.
With a passion for sports photography, Sanchez currently works as a staff photographer for the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Icon Sports Media. When not on assignment, Sanchez spends his down time photographing various local models, off-road racing, and weather phenomena.
Sanchez’ work has been featured in the Las Vegas Review Journal, ESPN.com, ESPN Magazine and Sports Illustrated.
